We really like this bowl.
I read some of the less than stellar reviews, and I decided to purchase and give it a try. I think the important thing to remember here is that it this is not intended to be 100% spill proof… It is still a bowl after all. I have had spills with this bowl, but less than normal for snack foods, and I’ll take it. I’ve picked up fewer snacks today than I have I in previous days, and for me, this is a win. This is designed to help the spills when a bowl is picked up suddenly, and if your kid puts their hand in there and prevents the bowl from rotating, it will spill. But hey, he likes it, and so do I. I love that it came with a lid, too. Here’s to cleaning up 5 outta 10 messes….. Instead of 10 outta 10. 😉

I bought this to try and prevent my baby from spilling his snacks all over the place and into the dog’s mouth. It works great! I tested it by twirling it all around and spinning it all over and nothing came out! I am very pleased, the dog is not pleased.

Being that this is an unheard-of third part seller, I honestly wasn’t sure if it was going to be worth getting. But I was pleasantly surprised to receive a bowl that’s fully functional, moves smoothly, and actually helps my toddler keep her snacks in her bowl. It’s a good quality bowl that acts exactly as it should. We love ours!

Easy to put together and wash. At times the plate clicks out of place and the food falls off. (Not sure if it’s a defect one or I am just not assembling it tight enough) But it comes in handy for my toddler to walk with and eat at the same time without spilling food on the floor.

The snack bowl design is very special, flat side of the release, the bowl will not tilt, will not pour things out. Children can also grab the ring handle, carrying their own bowl, with the children to share the bowl of food. The bowl is covered with a lid and is not easy to loose. Practical, funny, I will introduce to the other children’s mom to buy!

This bowl is wonderful, It will keep MOST foods in.
Solid foods like waffles will keep the bowl from doing what it is supposed to do 100% of the time. Every so often the waffle chunks will fall out of the inner bowl and stop the outer rings from moving as the should. Other foods like beans or mac and cheese stay in the bowl.

My daughter uses this daily now and it only fails to perform due to sudden impact or acceleration, otherwise her Goldfish crackers and Cheerios remain contained. Make sure you either disassemble it (easily) or secure it upside down in dishwasher, otherwise it will remain spill-proof in there and collect a bowl full of water to surprise you. The lid is a nice addition as well, although we’ve never used it, it has the potential to secure the contents during transit.

I bought this for my grand baby. She is all over the place and always left a trail. This works wonders! Not saying there are never messes but it isn’t because of the bowl! I highly recommend this and the suction bowls for seated messes!

My little one loves the freedom that this bowl gives them by not having to work around silicone flaps like the other spill proof snack containers have. They enjoy the mechanism of how it twists and turns and the 360 degrees handle is a bonus. This is very easy to wash, too. The bowl easily clicks out of the gyrating ring and I can put both pieces in the top shelf of my dish washer.
Parents, please be aware that there is no truly “spill proof” snack container. Your toddlers will eventually learn to not spill their snacks and your sanity will return. My 15 month old already figured out how to hold the gyrating bowl still with their thumb while they turned the bowl upside down and dumped their goldfish on the ground. The product is not flawed, I just have a smart and crafty toddler who is determined to do something when they want to do it!! 🙂

My son just turned one and he loves to snack, so I have been trying different snack containers with him to try and find the best one for at home and on the go. With regular bowls and suction cup bowls, he always manages to pull them up and dump them on the floor and they aren’t good for traveling with. With the ones that he has to stick his hand into, he has a hard time pulling it back out so he hates them and can’t use them. This gyro bowl has been the best thing I’ve tried so far! My son is just a baby and he likes to take handfuls of his snacks and throw them and he is a messy eater so they end up all over the place, but this does help a lot because he can’t just dump the entire bowl out and he can easily grab his snacks out. The lid is also amazing for traveling with and works great for quickly tossing in the diaper bag. It’s super easy to take apart and hand wash and then put back together. It’s a good size bowl that holds a decent amount of snacks. I have found that if I put a small snack like Cheerios or Kix cereal in it, it works better if it’s only half full. As my son gets older, this bowl is going to continue to be amazing.

Absolutely love this bowl. We bought it for our 1 year old grandson, who likes to throw things off of his highchair table. This bowl has worked great so far, in that when he throws it off the table his snack doesn’t fly all over the floor. It also works well in the car for snacks like goldfish when we travel. The bowl is easy to assemble and disassemble . Cleaning is fast , I just give it a scrub with soap and water.
